I was wondering if anyone was interested in creating an open source project to write import code in several programming languages to import BeerXML into native data types and provide a set of tools to work with the BeerXML objects. Some general goals would be to:
1) make it easy to import beerXml files that may or may not comply to the standard.
2) provide a set of methods to aid in working with the BeerXml. Like key lookups, ordering the record sets, possibly unit conversion and display formatting.
However the group would decide the goals. I could cover the ColdFusion code and the svn repository. Please email me if you are interested.
